Appendix 1:
1a. Eligibility to Win Day’s Play Trophy
The three cards submitted to establish eligibility (a handicap) to win the Day’s Play trophy have to be constituted HSGC events. If a new member has an Official Golf Link Handicap, details of the handicap are to be forwarded to the Club Handicapper as soon as possible before the round is played as they will commence playing at HSGC with this handicap.
1b. Club Championship Format
Currently, to be eligible for the Club Championship, members must play in a minimum of six of the designated Club Championship rounds throughout the year. For those who play in more than this, their best six rounds are taken into account. The best and worst of these are then taken off and the remaining four rounds aggregated.
The person with the highest aggregate total is the Club Champion.
In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by a countback of the rounds contributing to his/her aggregate score and the person who has the highest individual score will be declared the winner
